- Janet Ayers Honored For Her Work By YWCA
On October 2, 2014, The Ayers Foundation President, Janet Ayers, was inducted into the YWCA’s 2014 Academy for Women of Achievement. Launched locally in 1992 by the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee, The Academy for Women of Achievement honors women who, through excellence and leadership in their chosen fields, serve as role models for other women.
Event co-chairwoman Susan Short Jones said of this year’s Academy, “These established women deserve recognition for all they’ve done. The Nashville and Middle Tennessee community is a better place because of their inspiring work.”
The Ayers Foundation is proud to congratulate our President on this outstanding honor, as we celebrate all of her achievements and impactful work.
