The Ayers Foundation Founder and President, Jim and Janet Ayers, have given $1 million to the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus, located in Jackson, TN.
The gift will allow initiatives that will support students, faculty, programs and facilities at the Lambuth Campus, and was given in conjunction with a fundraising drive, meant to increase retention and graduation rates at the Lambuth Campus.
“Access to higher education – both state and private schools – is critically important to our region and our state,” said Janet Ayers. “The University of Memphis Lambuth Campus is an important resource for West Tennessee, and Jim and I are proud to lend our support toward making it a success.”
