Position (title): Grant Administrator
Location: TAF Headquarters
Job Summary: The role of TAF grant administrator is to ensure the development, implementation and evaluation of all grant funding plans with respect to the foundation’s goals and business plan. Also ensures the compliance with associated rules and regulations and supported by appropriate documentation.
Responsibilities: The responsibilities and duties of TAF grant administrator may include but are not limited:
- Daily maintenance of grant processes and practices in accordance to financial and budgeting aspects of the organization
- Ensuring compliance of required documentation
- Management of audits
- Preparation of required reports and data related to grants
- Readily accessible to answer questions and provide updates on grant status, etc.
Education and/or experience: Bachelors degree required, master’s degree beneficial. Specializing in a field of education or research, administration or public affairs are mostly preferred. Completion from a certificate program in grant management preferred. Minimum 1-year client facing, grant management experience required
Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft office, internet, data management platforms,
Language skills: Skilled professional that must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain a cordial relation with various stakeholders for proper coordination and management of grant funds. Excellent negotiation skills required
Reasoning Abilities: Meticulous attention to detail in analyzing and distributing funds in the right amount to the right party in accordance with the objectives for which they are granted and in compliance with legal rules and regulations. Must be well organized and able to learn new systems quickly and as needed.
Salary will be competitive for this position across the industry. Benefits include insurance, 401K, paid holidays, personal time off. Position is full time, 12 months a year.
