Position: The Ayers Foundation Scholars Program Executive Assistant Location: Parsons, TN

 

Job Summary:

Plans, directs, and coordinates daily operations for The Ayers Foundation Scholars Program.

The primary duty and responsibility of the Executive Assistant is to assist and support the Director of The Ayers Foundation Scholars Program. This role necessitates the ability to see the “big picture” to best meet the needs of the Ayers Foundation.

 

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities and duties of the Foundation Executive Assistant may include but are not limited to: assisting the Director with accounting, human resources, event planning, scheduling, assisting in daily office needs, managing our company’s general administrative activities, and maintain a high level of pride in work and accepts responsibilities for actions and decisions.

 

 

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree required. 3-5 years’ experience in office administration, human resources, or accounting preferred.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of database management, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Word, Internet and email.

 

Language Skills:

Must have exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals, instructions, and contracts. Able to talk to others and convey information effectively. Able to communicate clearly and efficiently.

 

Reasoning Abilities:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations. Ability to comprehend, react, and respond in stressful situations. Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. Ability to tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong and develop a workable solution.

 

Compensation:

Competitive salary. Benefits include: insurance, 401K, paid holidays, vacation, personal, and sick time. Position is full-time, 12 months.
